Christoph Klein is a pedia­tri­cian, researcher, and pioneer in cell and gene therapy for rare diseases. At Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospi­tal in Munich, he combines cutting-edge genetic research with clini­cal practice to develop individ­u­al­ized thera­pies for affected children. In addition, as co-founder of the Care-for-Rare Founda­tion and initia­tor of the Children and Youth Research Council in Munich, he advocates for the rights, partic­i­pa­tion, and visibil­ity of young patients.
