Japan Society of Applied Physics honors outstanding research on the fundamentals and applications of micro-optics
Hector Fellow Martin Wegener received the prestigious MOC Award from the Japan Society of Applied Physics / Microoptics Research Group for his pioneering contributions to the research on 3D additive manufacturing of metamaterials. The Award honors outstanding research in fundamentals and applications of microoptics.
The award ceremony will take place during the 28th Microoptics Conference on September 25, 2023 at the Seagaia Convention Center, Mayazaki, Japan. In addition to Martin Wegner, Akihiko Kasukawa (Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd.) and Marko Loncar (Harvard University) will also be honored with the MOC Award. Before the award ceremony, Martin Wegner will give a plenary lecture on the status and prospects of 3D laser micro- and nanoprinting.
