Hector Fellows

Excel­lence in Differ­ent Disciplines

Hector Fellows teach and research at differ­ent univer­si­ties and research insti­tu­tions across Germany. They repre­sent several disci­plines and fields in the natural sciences, engineer­ing, mathe­mat­ics, infor­mat­ics, psychol­ogy and medicine. Their research areas reach from the inves­ti­ga­tion of cell mecha­nisms to the explo­ration of the galaxy. In addition to the Hector Science Award, they have been awarded with several other national and inter­na­tional research prizes. Besides, they hold impor­tant posts and offices in central associ­a­tions and societies of their discipline.
