Prof. Dr. med. Carolin Schneider

Carolin Schnei­der is a physi­cian-scien­tist and W3 Profes­sor of Digital Preci­sion Medicine for Cancer Preven­tion and Early Detec­tion at the German Cancer Research Center and TU Dresden.

Her research focuses on improv­ing cancer preven­tion and early detec­tion through the use of large-scale health data, advanced statis­ti­cal methods, and artifi­cial intel­li­gence to identify high-risk groups. She devel­ops person­al­ized risk models and preven­tion strate­gies that aim to identify individ­u­als at increased cancer risk and enable more precise, tailored recom­men­da­tions. A central goal of her work is to trans­late digital technolo­gies and complex biomed­ical data into practi­cal tools for clini­cal care and popula­tion-based prevention.

Carolin Schnei­der has received several distinc­tions for her scien­tific work, includ­ing the presti­gious Fried­mund Neumann Prize. She has also been recog­nized twice on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
