Günter M. Ziegler will take over as Chair­man of the Steer­ing Commit­tee in 2021

The Steer­ing Commit­tee of Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD), consist­ing of repre­sen­ta­tives of major German science organi­za­tions, the Federal Ministry of Educa­tion and Research and founda­tions, advises on the activ­i­ties of Science in Dialogue and supports the admin­is­tra­tive office.

Since 2015, Hector Fellow Antje Boetius has served as Chair of the Steer­ing Commit­tee. She will leave office at the end of the year in rotation. Hector Fellow Günter Ziegler will assume the post start­ing January 1, 2021.

The initia­tive Wissenschaft im Dialog is a non-profit organi­za­tion founded in 2000 by the leading German science organi­za­tions. It organizes various formats of science commu­ni­ca­tion and devel­ops new formats.
