HFA supports Felix Full as an Associated Fellow at the chair of Agnieszka Nowak-Król
The HFA Associated Fellow Program represents a tailor-made advanced training for natural and engineering scientists. The Associated Fellow are taught management know-how and offered science communication training as part of the program. In addition to the opportunity to participate in the Hector Fellow Academy symposia, Associated Fellow are provided with annual research funding of 9,500€.
Since April, the Hector Fellow Academy funds the first project by a Hector Research Career Development Awardee. Together with Agnieszka Nowak-Król, Felix Full develops chiral boron-containing polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). PAHs already find application in organic solar cells and transistors. This project is focused on the synthesis of new chiral organoboron PAHs and the investigation of the impact of their chiral geometry on the operation of such devices.
