Ralf Bartenschlager, Immanuel Bloch, Patrick Cramer, Christoph Klein, and Dylan Nelson among the world’s most cited scientists

Five members of the Hector Fellow Academy are among the most influential researchers worldwide. The information provider Clarivate has now released the list of “Highly Cited Researchers” for 2025. This list features scientists whose numerous highly cited publications highlight their significant impact within their respective fields.

The following Hector Fellows and Hector RCD Awardees are included among the Highly Cited Researchers 2025:

  • Ralf Bartenschlager (Cross Field)
  • Immanuel Bloch (Physics)
  • Patrick Cramer (Biology and Biochemistry)
  • Christoph Klein (Immunology)
  • Dylan Nelson (Space Science)

The current list is based on publications from January 2014 to December 2024. A publication is considered “highly cited” if it ranks among the top 1% of citations in its field and publication year.
