Four Hector Fellows are listed as Highly Cited Researchers 2021 by Web of Science
The Hector Fellows Ralf Bartenschlager (cross-field), Immanuel Bloch (physics), Christoph Klein (immunology) and Martin Wegener (cross-field) are among the most cited researchers in 2021.
In order to create the list, the American company Clarivate analyzed scientific publications from 2010 until 2020 for citations. A publication is considered "Highly Cited" if it is among the top 1% of total citations in its subject area and year of publication.
