Hector Research Career Development Award
With Hector Research Career Development Award (Hector RCD Award), the Hector Fellow Academy supports promising research group leaders.
W1 assistant professors (with / without Tenure Track) or junior research group leaders (e.g., Emmy Noether, ERC Starting Grant, or similar) working in STEM, medicine or psychology are invited to apply for the Hector RCD Award.
From 2021 onwards, the Hector RCD Award will be awarded to 3 to 5 scientists annually. At least half of the prizes will go to female scientists. The award includes one-time €25,000 flexible personal research funds as well as €9,500 as research funding per year, funding of one doctoral position and a five-year membership in the Hector Fellow Academy.
The first application period runs from September 1st to October 30, 2020.
